History

When Hollings started out in business in 1980, our commitment was to manufacture and blend high quality dog and rabbit foods at very competitive prices. Nearly a quarter of a century later we still hold with that belief – and it’s a formula that has been very successful with both the pet trade and the public. Today we have a wide range of branded products including Tyke, Kennelmix, Bobtail and Pipkin, as well as producing over 5,000 tonnes per annum of own brand products.

Keeping the focus very much on you, the customer, we have the facilities and nutritional expertise to analyse and formulate the ideal foods for individual organisations, and can also help with product design, packing, palleting and distribution.

In 1996 we installed a dedicated air-drying system to produce natural air-dried products and treats. Today this forms a large and important side of our business – we produce approximately 70 different lines, from bulk to individually packed products.

Product design and packaging play key roles at Hollings. We feel that our design expertise, together with the quality of our ingredients, have been major contributors to our success.

A recent extension to our factory enables 450 pallets to be racked and available for delivery between 3 and 5 days of receiving an order. Plus, our haulage company has over 70 trucks to give quick, efficient service to all parts of the UK.
